Times Square is Your Campus
Circle has just about everything you’ll ever need as student of the performing arts.
On the rare occasion it doesn’t, you’re located in the heart of the theater district and anything you need is a hop, skip, or subway stop away.
Resources
The Drama Book Shop is located on 41st between 7th and 8th, is a favorite resource for students to pick up the newest plays, biographies, music, and more. It boasts a lounge area where you can read and select your next scene, and a theatre space where readings and playwright talkbacks regularly occur.
Another favorite location for students is the Lincoln Center Performing Arts Library on 66th between Columbus and Amsterdam. The Performing Arts Library has a large selection of plays, films, scores, biographies, manuals, cds, and more that can be loaned out for a month at a time. Additionally, students can watch filmed Broadway and off-Broadway performances in their viewing room.
Or if you’re looking for active wear for your day-to-day school life, Capezio is just around the corner at 50th between 7th and Broadway. At Capezio you can find anything you could possibly need to get through Physical Acting or Dance for Actors, from paws to sweats and tanks. To top it all off, you get a 10% discount as a Circle student on all your purchases there.
