Admission Requirements

  • Applications for Circle in the Square Theatre School’s Two-Year Conservatory and Summer Intensives are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. 
  • The Circle/Eckerd BFA has two application options: Early Action OR Rolling Admissions.
    Both options are non-binding and do not require a decision until May 1st

For ALL CIRCLE PROGRAMS, you will need to submit:

  • An application and application fee via acceptd
    ($60.00 for all applicants)
  • A headshot or clear photograph
  • A resume of your past theatrical experiences
    (including performances, classes, workshops, private instruction, etc.)
  • At least one letters of recommendation from people familiar with your acting and/or singing abilities

To apply to the 2+2 Circle/Eckerd BFA, you must:

  • Hold a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
  • Apply to both schools separately and meet the admissions requirements of both institutions.

  • If you are hoping to start at Eckerd, you will need to apply to both schools.

To apply to the 2 Year Circle Professional Workshops:

  • All applicants must be 17 years old & have a HS diploma upon arrival to CITSTS, however, applications are welcome prior to meeting said requirements.

To apply to the Summer Workshops, you must:

  • We accept people between the ages of 15-40
  • Please submit a Prescreen including 1 Monologue and 1 Song
