Professional Orientation

As part of the curriculum, Circle students are provided a professional orientation during their second year to prepare them for their careers at the conclusion of the program. The Professional Orientation focuses on the business of the theatrical world, and is taught by a combination of guest lecturers and current administration. Audition preparation, including monologue work and visual presentation, learning how to market the actor to an agent, and interview coaching are just some of the topics touched upon within the course. After the completion of the Professional Orientation, students are equipped with a better understanding of their own strengths and what they can bring to the table in any theatrical and business situation.
