Matt Cahill performs internationally in musical theater, opera, film, and television and is dedicated to teaching the next generation of singer-actors in all genres. He has performed at the American Repertory Theater, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Barbican Theatre on The West End, Les Bouffes du Nord in Paris, Piccolo Teatro in Milan, New York City Opera, The Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, Santa Fe Opera, on the National Tour of Scrooge: The Musical, on television in Law & Order, and in the feature film The Producers!

Matt has taught, administrated, directed productions, and developed curriculum for the 21st century singing-actor at pre-eminent organizations from grade school through professionals. Notable organizations include Summer Performing Arts with Juilliard’s Voice & Musical Theater programs, The Metropolitan Opera’s Lindemann Young Artist Development Program, Montclair University, The Gilman School, SongFest, ATsinging, and Brooklyn College Conservatory.

Along with his husband Edwin Cahill, Matt recently founded Hogfish, a regenerative arts and artist training company at the historic Beckett Castle, surrounded by a world-class rose garden on the coast of Maine.
