Jean-Paul Björlin / Singing Technique

Jean-Paul is a singer and pianist working in New York City, but is originally from Sweden. He teaches at Barnard College and Circle in the Square Theatre School. In the summers of 2008-2016, Jean-Paul worked as a pianist and coach at the vocal program of Marlena Malas at the Chautauqua Institution. He has been teaching for the Summer Performing Arts with Juilliard since 2017. He completed his Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees at the Juilliard School, studying voice. He also plays French horn and has completed his certification as a yoga instructor.
