Hannah Jew She/Her: Ballet & Advanced Dance
Born and raised in Oklahoma, Hannah began her dance training at Classical Ballet School. She spent summers training at Tulsa Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Joffrey Ballet and Complexions Contemporary Ballet. While in high school, she was an apprentice with Oklahoma City Ballet. Hannah is a graduate of The University of Oklahoma with a BFA in Ballet Performance. After graduating from college, she moved to New York City and has danced with Ballet Hispánico’s second company (BHdos), Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company and was on the National Tour of The King and I. Most recently, she danced/choreographed in a collaboration with composer/musician Chengjin Koh and Verona Quartet in a world premiere at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Asian Art (Washington, D.C.). She also created a new work Lai See (Red Envelope Blessings) on the students at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (Dallas, TX).
Hannah teaches ballet to all ages and has also taught dance for people with disabilities at A. Harry Moore School (Jersey City, NJ). She is honored to be part of the Circle family to continue sharing her love and passion for dance to others.
