Chris Browne Valenzuela (He/They) is a Chilean actor, singer and educator based in New York City. An engineer in a previous life, he is a Circle in the Square Theatre School Graduate and a company member of Will Frears’ Mercury Store, one of New York’s most prestigious Theatre Labs. He has most recently been seen leading “Arpilleras” at Secret Theatre, originating the role of Cooper in the new Jerjian & Block musical “Safe & Sound”, starring in Angélica Herrera’s “Saguaros” at JACK and in his original one-man show “Believe in stupis sh*t.” As well as a performer, Chris is an acting teacher specializing in Mask Work, a discipline he teaches in Conservatories such as Circle in the Square Theatre School and The Terry Knickerbocker Studio.
