Brian J. Gabriel

Born and raised on Long Island, Brian has been involved in countless community and regional theatre productions on LI, as well as in NYC. Before coming to Circle in the Square Theatre School, he graduated Cum Laude from CUNY Queens College with his B.A. in Drama and Theatre Arts, as part of the Macaulay Honors College at CUNY. Favorite credits include Island Song (Jamie), Cloud 9 (Betty/Martin), Our Lady of 121st St (Gail), Damn Yankees (Applegate), The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (Pontius Pilate/Uncle Pino), and The Cherry Orchard (Pischik). Outside of the basement, you can find Brian pining for a bread bowl at your local Panera Bread, reading at the Drama Book Shop, talking himself out of that bagel, or curled up in a fetal position contemplating his future (probably also at your local Panera Bread). www.brianjgabriel.com

“What Circle blesses us with is the courage to be ourselves on and off stage: training us in the art of knowing who we are at our core, so that we may find what it is inside of a character or the world of a play that brings that very core to the surface.”
