CARES ACT REPORTING ON EMERGENCY FINANCIAL AID GRANTS TO STUDENTS

On March 27, 2020, the Federal government enacted the Coronavirus Aid, Relief
and Economic Security Act (CARES Act), Pub L. No. 116-136, providing funds to
institutions from the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) to make
Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students for expenses related to the disruption
of campus operations due to coronavirus, including eligible expenses under s
student’s Cost-Of-Attendance, such as food, course materials, technology, health
care, and child care. The law requires institutions to report certain information
related to the use of these funds. The following information is reported for the
period, May 30, 2020 to June 30, 2020 as to date no further funding from this has
been received.

I. This statement shall serve to acknowledge that Circle In The Square
Theatre School signed and returned to the US Department of
Education the Certification and Agreement-Emergency Financial Aid
Grants to Students. We further attest that Circle In The Square
Theatre School has used, and/or intends to use, no less than 50
percent of the funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the
CARES Act to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students.

II. The total amount of funds that Circle In The Square Theatre School
received from the Department pursuant to Circle In The Square
Theatre School’s Certification and Agreement [for] Emergency
Financial Aid Grants to Student is $20,715.

III. The total amount of Emergency Financial Aid Grants distributed to
students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act as of June 30,
2020 is $20,715.

IV. Circle In The Square Theatre School awarded grants to students who
were eligible to participate in programs under Section 484 in Title IV
of the Higher Education Act of 1965 and thus eligible to receive
Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students under Section
18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act who demonstrated need as measured
by the School’s Costs of Attendance budget used to award Title IV aid

to students for the 2019-20 School Year minus Estimated Family
Contributions indicated the 2019-20 processed FAFSAs.

V. Using a comparison between student Cost-Of-Attendance less the
Estimated Family Contributions for the 2019-20 School Year, 19
students received an Emergency Financial Aid Grant to students
under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act. As of June 30, 2020,
Circle disbursed $20,715 to students proportional to their need as
determined by this formula.

VI. Should future CARES funding become available for Circle In The
Square Theatre School to offer grants to students for 2020-21 School
Year. The same method of awarding aid to student eligible to receive

Federal Financial Aid will be used on estimated 2020-21 Cost-Of-
Attendance and the Estimated Family Contribution as found on the

processed 2020-21 FAFSAs. Students who wish to receive this aid
should submit a written request to the School Director, Mr. Colin
O’Leary.

VII. At present Circle In The Square Theatre School has not received
additional CARES-HEERF grant aid. Should additional CARES Act
funding become available, Circle will update this notice to announce
the availability of CARES grant aid for the 2020-21 School Year.
