Musical Theatre Accompanist
Violet Wang is a Taiwanese actress and a classically trained musician based in New York. Recent theatre credits include Countess Almaviva in Figaro (Hope Summer Repertory Theatre — voted Best Performer In A Play for BWW Regional Awards), Maria in Love’s Labour’s Lost (Barefoot Shakespeare Company), Muse in An Iliad (Titan Theatre Company), Feste in Twelfth Night: A Musical (Clocktower Players), and Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (CITSTS).
She’s currently a Resident Acting Company with Titan Theatre Company. As a musician, she’s a concert cellist and soloist with The Chelsea Symphony, and has worked as a pianist with Barnard College, NYU Tisch and CITSTS.
Training: Circle in the Square Theatre School (MT, ‘19). National Taiwan Normal University (BFA in Cello Performance).
