Meredith Lustig (she/her)
Singing Technique
Meredith is a passionate educator and performer. She earned both her Bachelors and Masters Degree in Vocal Performance from The Juilliard School and has enjoyed a diverse career in opera, musical theater, television, and as a soloist with symphonies across the United States, Canada, and Asia. In addition to maintaining a private teaching studio, Meredith has held faculty positions at Bard College Preparatory and Juilliard’s Music Advancement Program, and has led masterclasses with music director Rob Fischer for the Virginia Arts Festival and the Governers School for the Arts.
As a student herself, her singing philosophy draws from experience in Alexander Technique, Linklater, yoga, and from observing rehabilitation at the NYU Langone Voice Center. Her struggles with dyslexia have also deeply influenced her approach to music and broadened her awareness towards alternative methods of learning. With every student, she aims to impart a solid technical and musical foundation that empowers them to sing freely with great awareness, curiosity, and intention.
